Guelph Hydro, Kitchener-Wilmot Hydro and Waterloo North Hydro Select Rodan as Delivery Partner for the OPA's Demand Response Program

Mississauga, ON, Canada, January 26th, 2009 – Guelph Hydro Electric Systems Inc., Kitchener-Wilmot Hydro Inc. and Waterloo North Hydro Inc. have selected Rodan Energy Solutions Inc. as their delivery partner to promote and implement Demand Response programs in their service territories.

As part of its on-going efforts to acquire province-wide demand savings, the OPA’s DR programs offer payments for availability (capacity) and for actual load reduction to commercial, institutional and industrial customers with a peak demand >50 kW. During scheduled hours on designated business days, program participants make themselves available to respond to load reduction notices.
