City of Windsor Chooses Rodan as its Demand Response Provider

Mississauga, ON, Canada, November 20th, 2009 – The Council for the City of Windsor has approved a motion to appoint Rodan Energy Solutions Inc. as it's demand response provider.

The Windsor Public Library and Windsor South Arena have been confirmed for participation in the Ontario Power Authority's Demand Response 3 program. A host of other municipal facilities including generation opportunities are set to come on board in the coming months.

"We are leveraging Rodan's expertise in implementing and managing demand response programs in Ontario. Participation in the DR3 program will allow us to develop a greater awareness of our municipal electric demand management and response techniques and we are excited to reap the many benefits of participation including lower energy bills and reduced air pollutant emissions benefiting all residents of the City." stated Sergio Grando, Executive Director-Hospitality and Corporate Facility Planning.
