Demand Response - How it Works

Experienced personnel together with innovative technologies and proven processes execute and manage demand response events from start to finish.

Rodan’s Network Operations centre tracks electricity consumption across a network of commercial, institutional, and industrial customer sites as well as power generators.

When a Demand Response event is called by ISO or utility - NOC responds:

1. Sends alert to participants via Email, Phone, Text or automated control.
2. Participant reduces power as agreed upon.
3. NOC monitors participants’ actions in real time and issues an alarm if non-compliant.
4. Participant is paid for their participation.

Demand Response activities and obligations are transparent to the participant in real-time through Rodan’s EnerVu platform which provides the following data:

• energy usage
• DR baselines
• performance settlement
